History of the Aston Academy of Magic

Full time professional entertainers, Peter Gardini and Alan Astra, formed The Aston Academy of Magic, to provide a specialist service to schools, colleges and industry.

The Academy of Magic began life over thirty years ago as The Astra Magic Club, which met at RAF Henlow in Bedfordshire. Since those early times it has grown into the professional magic school and magic academy of today.

Since the academy was founded, many other people have tried to copy what the magic academy and magic school have been doing. We are of course flattered that other people try to emulate what we do.

Peter and Alan can teach your marketing people how to use magical illusions to promote your company image and increase market share. They also give tuition to schools and individuals.

Peter is a member of The Magic Circle, The Fellowship of Christian Magicians, The International Brotherhood of Magicians and British Actors' Equity.

Alan is a Gold Star member of The Inner Magic Circle, The international Brotherhood of Magicians and British Actors' Equity. Alan is also the European Balloon Modeling champion and the resident balloon modeling expert on TV's Mel and Des show. Recently Alan was awarded The Magic Circle's Silver Wand award for his outstanding services to The Magic Circle over the years.

Peter and Alan have totally different styles of working but they can provide entertaining magic to add a sparkle to your exhibition, fun day or company event. For very large events they have access to a large range of other professional entertainers whose services they can call upon.
